Main Screen
The Main Screen is where you login using a user name and password. Also, you can print out the Tutorial startup sheet which will guide you
through the simple process of entering a bond. In addition, you can view the on-line manual and search for any subject matter relating to
the system. You can also print the manual out on either your laser or inkjet printer.
Bail Bonding
The Bail Bonding tab at the top of the screen is where you begin the process of entering bonds, receiving inventory and issuing powers
(bonds) out to the agency or agencies. Notice the block title, "Transactions." On this screen you receive powers from your surety, or if
you are a professional bondsman, you will enter your own numbering system to track the information. You can also void powers (bonds),
enter premium and collateral receipts and inquire about outstanding powers on any defendant. When you are ready to print and mail out
Court Notification Letters to both the defendant and Indemnitors, this screen is where you accomplish that task.
Power Master File
The Power Master File screen is the heart of system. On this screen you will enter all information regarding bonds, defendant information,
indemnitor information, the agency who issued the bond, the agent who signed up the defendant, premium receipt, collateral receipts,
attorney information, and all court information (charges, date of appearance, location etc ...) You can also Search for any information
in the system. (primary search keys are: Defendant, Indemnitor, Surety, Agency, and Power or Bond number.
Defendant Screen
Here you see the defendant information screen. This screen pops up over the powers screen so that you can easily enter all information
without having to go in and out of other screens. You enter all information off of one screen… that screen is the Powers Master
File. Also you can attach digital pictures to the defendant information screen to view later. The picture attachment will also print a
wanted poster, complete with all information captured in the defendants file.
Premium Receipts Screen
On this screen you will enter the premium received from the defendant or the payor, and the system will track the amount received and any
balance due. You can also identify the methods of payment. You can track and enter as many payments against the balance until it is paid
in full.
Collateral Receipts Screen
On this screen you will enter the collateral received from the defendant or the payor. As you see below, the collateral can be identified
by a simple check box, or you can enter a description of the item, along with any additional comments. Multiple collateral receipts can
be enter into the system per Bond.
Court Information Screen
This screen displays all vital court information. As you can see below, the system tracks both docket and case numbers assigned, plus the
court, appearance date, time and location. Charges and other vital information are entered on the screen as well. If you have multiple
charges on a single bond, just click on the Add button and add as many charges as needed. Each charge will have its own relevant
information, including appearance date, time, etc…
Agents Register of Powers (Inventory)
This report shows your inventory of Bonds. Note the third column (Sts)… These codes represent whether the bond is (E)xecuted,
(D)ischarged, or (I)ssued. Other codes would indicate Received, Voided, Forfeited, Judgment, etc ... Note in this example, the first 3
Bonds have been (E)xecuted, the next 2 Bonds have been (D)ischarged, and the last 5 have been (I)ssued to the Agency, but have not been
written. Therefore, they are available as new Clients come in the office.
Execution Report
This is the monthly Execution Report that you print and send to your Surety company. Note: All liability is calculated as well as Agency
& Surety amounts to be paid.
Monthly Activity
This report is a real gem! Even though it is called the Monthly Activity report, it can be run at any time and for any date range. It
produces reports broken down by Surety, Agency, County, Agent and Defendant. You can selectively choose any combination or any single
item to produce the information desired. The report sub-total by all categories providing total liability incurred, premiums generated,
amount collected and amount still remaining to be paid.
Court Notification Report
This handy report provides you with information needed to make your evening calls to remind the defendant of their court date. Note: As
an option, The Bondsman has an optional program called, BondPalm™. This program interfaces a Palm Pilot
or Pocket PC with your desktop computer and passes this information over to that device. Instead of taking home the report, you take home
your PDA and all this information plus much more is available at the touch of a stylus.
Promotional Analysis Report
This report provides monthly or anytime analysis of where your business is coming from. You provide the various tracking codes and when a
new Client comes into the business, just ask them how they heard about you. Attach the correct code, like Radio, Yellow Pages, Billboards,
etc… and The Bondsman will do the rest.
